Sharing Healthy Adolescent and Parent Experiences (S.H.A.P.E.) program empowers parents to participate in the health and reproductive education of their children, ages 9-16. At the conclusion of the course, students will have developed the awareness, attitudes, and skills needed to deal responsibly with their sexuality and social pressures, while parents will have developed the confidence to talk with their children about values and sexuality.
Special Sitters is a program that trains teens to babysit children with disabilities. The Sitters can choose to earn money or volunteer for community service hours. Parents get peace of mind knowing their child with disabilities is being watched by a caring Sitter with special knowledge
Registration for Summer Camps, both day camp and residential camp, will be available on Monday, April 2, 2012. This year, residential camp will be the week of July 9th through the 13th, at Camp Nawakwa in Angeles Oaks, part of our local San Bernardino Mountains. For four weeks, we will feature summer day camp at Irvine Regional Park. Each week will be an exciting theme filled with educational activities, field trips and fun!
